Photos of Rotota
Rotota is a very special place. Because of its unspoilt environment nature abounds and there are many Bellbirds, Tui, Fantails and Californian Quail. The grounds are lush and green with geothermal hot spots, a waterfront with jetty for diving into the lake, a geothermally heated hot tub and bush tracks intertwine the 22 acres of the grounds. The photos below give a taste of this unspoilt environment.
The grounds and surrounds
The grounds of Rotota are very special. There is an abundance of wildlife within the native bush and conservation work being undertaken by the club aims to build upon this. Kārearea (NZ falcon) have been residing on our grounds in recent years. The photos below show some of the grounds and the lakefront which is in use both summer and winter alike.
