Rotota is a place to …

Chill, relax with friends, socialise, walk in native forest, swim in the lake, go fishing, kayak, share a few drinks, watch the stars from the hot tub, check out the glow worms near the hot stream, plunge under a hot waterfall, experience being at one with nature…free of clothes and free of society’s expectations.

Important Covid Communication to Members – 15 October

Dear members,

With labour weekend fast approaching, and Delta’s spread increasing, we kindly ask that you observe the following guidelines in the interests of our community’s health and wellbeing.

  1. Please do not come to RSC if you are travelling through, or coming from, areas within level 3 or 4.
  2. Do not come to Rotota if you are feeling unwell or have flu or cold symptoms.
  3. Please scan in at the green gate upon arrival. If unable to scan, please ensure you sign in at the club house.
  4. Under Government guidelines (assuming Rotota stays in level 2), we are permitted to have up to 100 people at a social gathering. On that basis we have decided to proceed with our Saturday night social, but in the interests of keeping it simple we will not be having a Medieval theme. If anyone is not comfortable attending a gathering in the clubhouse, we do of course understand.
  5. Please remember to use hand sanitiser before entering the clubhouse.
  6. We also discourage the sharing of food and drinks in the clubhouse.

As a Committee, we cannot mandate Covid vaccination, and we respect that this is a personal choice. However, to help protect our vulnerable members, including children under the age of 12, we strongly recommend that members be vaccinated before coming to Rotota.

It is our responsibility as your Committee to keep our members safe and well. We all need to play our part and follow the above guidelines.

If circumstances change in the next week, requiring a further update, we will contact you all again.

Until then, take care and stay safe.

RSC Committee
