This Code supports a safe, respectful and enjoyable space for everyone. All members and visitors are expected to uphold these behaviours:
- Respect for People
No discrimination re sexual orientation, gender, ethnicity or cultural belief. - Consent & Privacy
Members wishing to take recorded images may do so only with the permission of all subjects, or their parents or guardians.
No phones are allowed in the clubrooms unless required for medical reasons.
Recorded images shall not be published on the internet without express permission of the Committee.
The names and other details of any person on the grounds shall not be divulged to any non-nudists without the members’ prior approval. - Non-Sexual Environment
Rotota is family-friendly and supports non-sexual social nudity. Sexual behaviour in communal spaces is not permitted. Affection should be private and respectful. - Nudity & Hygiene
You are expected to be nude unless the weather or a health issue makes this impractical.
No clothes, including swimsuits, shall be worn in the hot tubs or showers.
Cover your chair if your body is bare. - Shared Spaces
Clean up after yourself and respect shared facilities.
Observe quiet hours (10pm–9am, or 1am on function nights).
Rotota does not have rubbish disposal facilities – take your rubbish home.
Nothing but bodily waste and toilet paper is to be put down any toilets. - Alcohol, Smoking & Substances
Drink responsibly. No drunkenness or disorderly behaviour.
Smoking or vaping is not permitted in or within 10 metres of the lake, hot tub, hot streams, clubhouse, or Club Accommodation. The north-eastern end of the clubhouse verandah is a designated smoking end.
Illegal drugs are not allowed on-site. - Safety & Environment
Club machinery may only be operated by a designated club member.
Be aware and respect thermal hazards.
Motor vehicles must be used responsibly and not whilst intoxicated or under the influence of drugs. The speed limit on the grounds is 15km per hour.
All power boats, jet skis and other motorised watercraft must be kept out of the main swimming area.
Weapons are not permitted.
No open fires are allowed on the grounds unless approved by the committee. - Animals
No cats, dogs or pets of any kind are allowed on the grounds (except registered assistance dogs with prior approval). - Children
Children must be supervised at all times by their caregiver and remain their responsibility. - Communication & Conduct
Be honest and kind. Avoid divisiveness and raise concerns respectfully.
